Full moon Love and Relationship Ritual

Love and relationships are the cornerstones of our lives, bringing us joy, fulfilment, and a sense of belonging. In the modern world, where we are constantly bombarded by distractions and consumed by digital interactions, it is more important than ever to prioritise and nurture our connections. One profound way to strengthen the bond with our loved ones is through the practice of love and relationship rituals, particularly under the enchanting glow of the full moon.

The full moon has long been associated with heightened energy and amplified intentions*. It is a time of abundance, transformation, and deep emotional reflection. By harnessing the potent energy of the full moon, we can infuse our love and relationship rituals with an extra dose of power and intentionality.

To create a powerful love and relationship ritual under the full moon, you will need a few simple ingredients: a ceramic bowl, water, apple seeds, salt, and black pepper. The apple seeds symbolise new beginnings and the growth of love. Additionally, gather some soft and delicate flowers to bring in their gentle energy. Set the stage by placing these items in the ceramic bowl. Remember, your main ingredient is your intention, your presence, your mindfulness.

On the night of the full moon, position the bowl in a place where it will be directly bathed in moonlight. Allow the water to soak up the moon's radiant energy throughout the night, charging it with amplified vibrations. This water will serve as the foundation of your ritual.

The next day, take a piece of paper and write your name or the name of a loved one upon it. On a separate piece of paper, jot down words that carry love energy and the specific energies you wish to transmit to the person named on the first piece of paper. This could include qualities like harmony, protection, healing, or the release of toxic relationships.

Now, take a pendulum and hold it above the love words, making it turn clockwise. This motion helps to infuse the paper with the desired vibrations. Then, move the pendulum in an anti-clockwise direction above the name written on the other piece of paper, allowing the vibrations to transfer and merge. This symbolic act helps to connect the intentions with the person involved.

With the pendulum still in your hand, recite a heartfelt affirmation, calling upon the universe, your guides, angels, ancestors, or any higher power you resonate with. Ask for their assistance in manifesting the desired outcomes of the ritual. Express your intentions for the person named, seeking protection, harmony, and the cultivation of healthy relationships. Finish the affirmation with gratitude for the blessings that will come forth.

"Dear universe, energies, I ask - my guides, the energies, my angels, my ancestors (what resonates the most with you) - to help this ritual manifest to its best. I ask - your names or loved one - energies and her/his guides, angels, ancestors, higher self to receive the benefits or this ritual. May this ritual protect - name - in her/his family relationships, friendship and love relationships, her/his loved ones, bring harmony in relationships, facilitate her/his inner-work, detach from toxic relationships, brings healthy relationships. May - name - cultivate unconditional love and receive this unconditional love, so be it, thank you".

Fold the paper with the name written on it three times (optional) and place it gently into the water in the bowl. Cover the bowl by placing a dish on top of it to seal in the intentions.

Now, it's time to bring in the element of fire. Take a pink candle and anoint it with olive oil, allowing the rose petals, lavender, and motherwort to stick to its surface. Place the candle on the dish, directly above the water-filled bowl. Optional, light up an incense holder, bringing the element of air and sacredness. Light the candle and let it burn until it extinguishes naturally. Ensure you remain present and vigilant to prevent any fire hazards.

Once the ritual is complete, you have a few options for the final step. You can bury the bowl in the soil, allowing the earth to absorb and ground the energy. Alternatively, you may dispose of it respectfully in your bin. Choose the method that feels most aligned with your intentions and beliefs.

Love and relationship rituals under the full moon are profound acts of love and devotion. They allow us to connect deeply with our loved ones, while also inviting the potent energies of the universe to support and manifest our intentions.
